Snake Plant (Dracaena Trifasciata, syn. Sansevieria Trifasciata)

R40.00

If you’ve ever struggled to keep a houseplant alive, this one was made for you. The Snake Plant, also known as Mother-in-Law’s Tongue or Saint George’s Sword, is a clump-forming evergreen perennial with stiff, upright, sword-shaped leaves. Those thick, leathery leaves are dark green with an irregular pattern of lighter horizontal bands, often edged with a sharp, golden-yellow to creamy-white border. They rise vertically from the soil, creating a dramatic, sculptural accent. In ideal conditions, it may produce a tall, slender flower spike bearing clusters of fragrant, greenish-white, lily-like flowers.
